Hello All,

Is anyone aware of any rental housing or temporary accomodation available to expats living in Andijan, Uzbekistan?

Does anyone know of what expatriates do in this location in terms of perminant housing/accomodation?

Any advise or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

When I stayed in Tashkent for an extended period, I just lived with a local family (i can pass off as Uzbek, so i guess this didn't raise any suspicions with the local mahalla-watchers). Don't know how easy it is for Westerners (that's if you do look Western) to do this in Andijan, though, considering recent events there. Probably negotiating a special rate with a hotel/guesthouse would be the way to go.
