I am looking for travel partners to share expenses of a hired 4WD + driver to travel Pamir Highway from Khorog to Osh departing in late August 2007.

I am a 39 yr old Cdn male travelling solo looking to travel the Pamir Highway from Khorog to Osh starting approximately Aug 30 to exit Sept 3 into Kyrgyzstan (visa ends). Should I be able to extend Tajik visa, I could make trip longer, allowing for more sidetrips.

I have contacted ACTED and Pamir Lodge for quotes and, based on web info, it looks like cost will be about $400 accounting for driver's return and other costs. I am staying at Marian's Guesthouse in Dushanbe (223 01 91) and would be very keen on hearing from interested travellers.
