tashkent hostel

Hello, Im going to Tashkent with my parents and my sister and we want to book a hostel before going but without paying european price.
Can you recommend my one central hostel with an UZBEK price that I can book by internet?

You can spend a week in a nice room for that price here in Canada!
insane, the day i see uzbeks paying such prices is the day i know the world is about to end.

I was in Tashkent already. And i will advice you good guest house.
In Tashkent Mirzo guest house. (Cheap price with breakfast and official OVIR registration and friendly peoples, sometimes the director from guest house can playing dutar (uzbek national insturment) for you and they give free tea or cofe for you.
Contact information: Old town Tashkent (very interesting place for travellers and very near to Chorsu bazar and metro station (5 or 10 mitute for a walk). Also that place near to most important place "Khastimam"(10 minute for a walk).

willywins: What are Uzbek prices in your mind? :-) Prices on cars, PCs, flights, most other things are pretty European here.
If USD 5..10 per night - maybe you should not come here?
If 15..20 - you may find nice places in Bukhara and Samarkand, but not in Tashkent. At least, no good places in Tashkent.
Murod Mirzo: not a very good place. The owner is sometimes OK, sometimes - not. Depends on his good mood. But anyway, almost no alternatives. Gulnara b&b, Komnata Otdyha in the train station.

Garak1987: What's funny? USD 175? For 2 nights with breakfast in one of the best 4** hotels in all Central Asia?
