Song-Köl

Hi,

What is the best way (most beautiful one) to visit Song-Köl by horse: from Naryn/Kurtka or from Kochkor? Or is it possible to start in Kochkor and end in Kurtka in a 2/3 day horse trek?

Many thanks in advance.

Florian

Hello! We just did this trip from Kochkor (organized by Shepherd's life) for 5.000 Som/person. It was a a 2day trek with one night in a yurt. It was really cool, but quite tough (since we are not experienced horse riders). There is also the possibility to do a 3 day trek (the second day riding along the shore of the lake). I think from Naryn it's quite far to ride up to Song Kol - we started in the village of Jumbal (they brought us there from Kochkor by taxi, 1 hour). You can see some pics of our trek here: http://www.whenbutnow.com/horse-trek-song-kol-day-buried-childhood-dream

Cheers,
Fritz

Hi I did 3 days trip from Kochkor (in May): first day taxi to Kazar village, horse riding to yurt. 2nd day by horse to Song Kul and back to Yurt. 3rd day horse to Kazar and taxi to Kochkor.
I did it with CBT and it was amazing.
