I am looking into the possibility of climbing greater Chimgan peak[3309m] as a day hike from Tashkent. I am very fit & have much trekking/hiking experience.
I have climbed /trekked from 300 M to 1950 M in a day with a full pack in the Australian alps.
I have been quoted USD$60 for day hiking guide. This seems to be expensive for a guide.
Has anybody attempted this ?
