I have a three month tourist visa for Tajikistan.

I plan to enter for just a few days on the first entry, then a second longer visit.

I have heard that tourist visas do not need to be registered any longer for stays of up to 30 days, but does this refer to any stay of up to 30 days, or does it refer to visas which are valid no longer than 30 days?

The official position is - Doesn't matter how long your tourist visa is valid for, if your stay is for less than 30 days you don't need to register with OVIR.

Hello,

Are you sure you don't have to register? On these Russian websites is written that you have to register when you are in Tajiksitan for 3 days.
