Room fee: Dushanbe Hotel

Hey! I'm in Dushanbe and Hotel Dushanbe has simple rooms on the 4th and 5th floor, which are typically four-bed. They charge $20 per bed. There is a guy who works there who speaks English, though he's not always around. They put foreigners in rooms with other foreigners, not Tajiks/Russians. I was the only foreigner there for two nights, so I had a four-bed room to myself for $20 per night. I'm now at Adventurer's Inn, which has a less central location, but is much much better, with a quiet, relaxing garden, good showers, comfortable rooms and usually around 6-10 other travellers, for company. Their prices are negotiable, plus they have a kitchen..

I forgot to say breakfast is included at Hotel Dushanbe and is usually included at Adventurer's Inn, however not at the moment, until they recruit new staff for making breakfast! There are several good restaurants near Hotel Dushanbe and one good one near Adventurer's Inn.
