I will be traveling in Uzbekistan until around October 3rd when I will be leaving the Fergana Valley to cross into Tajikistan (not sure what border). I will be traveling in Tajikistan until either October 10th, in which case i could do the Faan Mountains, Istaravshan, Iskander kul and vicinity, or I could extend my trip until the 17th, in which case I would love to do the Pamir Highway from Khorog to Murgab and back around to Ishkashim before flying or driving back to Dushanbe. I don't know if there would be enough time to get to Karakul. Let me know if you would be interested in joining either itinerary. I really don't want to be a single female traveling through TJK and would really love some company, and someone to split the costs of a driver/ guide.
