Long time ago I remember reading some helpful instructions on this forum regarding obtaining a GBAO permit in Dushanbe.
However due to the clean up over Xmas/NY, that post has disappeared.
Please can someone with recent experience provide instructions as to how to obtain the permit in Dushanbe? Or point me to a relevant webpage?

PS, I obtained the visa at an embassy that does not issue GBAO permit.

Yeah, I was on that site previously...

I got the visa in Baku, AZ, and no LOI was required. Processing time 4 days, 30 day single entry visa for USD35. Expedited processing was not enquired.
Two app forms, two photos, copy of passport and AZ visa, and letter to ambassador (the consul will tell you what to write)

Any other information on getting a GBAO permit in Dushanbe would be much appreciated.

Yeah, I'd appreciate getting my detailed post back from 2010, as I'm sure would others who have posted updates since. Sorry I don't have the post in my notes anywhere.

Travel pics, many from Africa and Middle East/Central Asia.
The newest are from Algeria, South Korea and Taiwan.
