from tashkent to dushanbe

You might try overland via Khujand. I understand the border there is open. Khujand is worth a visit and the trip through the Fan mountains is worth a few days, if you want to try the region at this time of the year. Alternatively, if you don't want to experience the mountains, there are flights from Khujand through to Dushanbe

Don't try Samarquand to Penjkent as the border is definately still closed.

In case yiu want a second opinion, I agree with the first opinion--car to Khujand and plane to Dushanbe (US$100 or so if I remember correctly), or overland if you want assuming the roads are open.

anyone got any updates on the road through from Tashkent to Dushanbe?

I am hoping to do this trip stopping at Istaravshan and Iskanderkul next month.
