hello, I'd like to know if it's necessary to bring dollars or can I bring only euros,change in dushanbe and pay sometimes in euros . I'll go to pamir, thanks, SBZ
I'll have some dollars in case, but not a lot

You can change both EUR and USD everywhere in Dushanbe. In the Pamir you can change both also, but the rate is a little bit less for EUR. So you can just change more EUR in Dushanbe and bring that with you.

The dollar is still the preferred currency, but if you have euros, so be it. The euro rate used to be very bad even in Dushanbe, but now it seems fine. Outside of the capital it is a very different story as #1 indicates.
