Does anybody know if it is possible/allowed to vistit Tash Rabat from Naryn (on individual base -without any guide)? Our aim is not to travel all the way toTorugart Pass border crosssing - but only vistit Tash Rabat from Naryn and back. Is it possible in a one day trip? Do we need any special permit or any special transport? Thanks.

Has anyone tried to get from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzsan without Kyrgystan visa? Is it possible? I am going to visit Uzbekistan on May (I will have double entry Uzbek visa) and I would like to visit Kyrgystan also - but only if it is possible to get there without visa. I can pay bribes instead. After visiting Kyrgystan I would get back to Tashkent in Uzbekistan where I have flight to Riga.

I'd like to visit Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan between July and September. Is it still ok for most of the trekking till September? Can anyone let me know the prices for a guide to trek for about a week in both countries please and also what the budget will be per day? I think I will also be needing a porter, right?

Will 30euros a day be enough for all the trip?

I'll be in Kyrgyzstan for business, but I have about a week to travel around in early April. I know the weather will still be cold. What would you recommend as must see and still doable in a week or so?

I went to the Indian embassy in Bishkek this morning, hoping to replace my current, valid Indian visa with a new one, so that I can have more time there. Just to clarify: the old one was an UNUSED 6 month multiple entry visa issued in London (I'm a UK passport holder). All I want is a 3 month single entry. It's just that my current one will expire on 21st April, not long enough for what I want to do there!

Hello, I am planning to visit Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan from mid-April to end of April before going on to China. I would like to know if there is any pass between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and China, Tajikistan and China that will be open during that period. Will the Irkeshtam pass be open in April. If there is no through road between Tajikistan and China, is there any flight between the 2 countries, how to get to China from Tajikistan. Grateful if anyone can help. Thanks.

I'm planning for a cycling trip in Kyrgystan in the summer. Preferable I would like to go there for 5-6 weeks, but it seems like to tourist visa is only for one month, http://www.kyrgyzvisa.com/.

Has someone got a longer visa to kyrgystan? I'm not so familiar with this visa applies at all but can there be a possiblity that I can get a longer tourist visa than one month if I apply for it. Or would that be a bad idea?

Does anyone know if there is a road from Kyzyl-kiya to Daroot Korgon (on some maps there is a road and on other maps there isn't). I am planning to travel from Batken to Daroot Korgon by the shortest way. Thanks.
