Do Turkish Airlines get stroppy and try to prevent you from boarding if you are on a Istanbul-Bishkek flight with a one-way ticket?

They shouldnt as there is VAO for most nationalities, but you never know...........

I've done it several times without having any problem. Sometimes it helps to show something on paper, so you might consider printing the visa application you will fill out in Bishkek and showing it to TA in Istanbul. Clueless gate agents will think it's a (not required) LOI.

Its not the Immigration people who worry me but the stupid people at check-in!

I flew with them last week to (London - Istanbul - Bishkek) and the check-in just double-checked on her computer that I could get a VOA and that was it. I found the the Turkish Air staff at Heathrow really helpful and no problem.
