Hi all,
I'm in China at the moment, heading towards Almaty, Kazakhstan. I've taken the route by train through Urumqi before, so this time I was hoping to take the Torugart pass from Kashgar to Naryn (and on to Bishkek) in Kyrgyzstan.
I'm looking for anyone to share costs - transport is around $360 (2 cars, 1 chinese and 1 kyrgyzstan, with relevant permits). I'll be in Kashgar from around 1st December, looking to travel on or around the 3rd December. It's quite late in the season and it's likely there won't be many people travelling this way, so I may have to return to Urumqi, or arrange other plans. If you're thinking of doing a similar trip and want to share costs, contact me.
FYI - This is cross-posted in North-East Asia/China branch.
John
