Hi, I'm arriving in Bishkek on Monday 15th and planning to head to Kochkor next day for immediate trip to Song Kol. Anyone know if yurts are still there and whether CBT, Shepherds Life, etc are still organising trips? I've emailed but no response. Also, if anyone interested in joining me would be great to share transport and experience.

I did a 2-day horse-trek about ten days ago. It was organized at Jumgal's Shepherd's Life for 3300 som pp. Though I can't be sure due to the time of the year you chance of getting it done is high due to the high demand. Good luck!

BTW two days on a horse is more than enough for me.

They were still there about a week ago. But it also started snowing, so be prepared for the cold. My company may still take people there for a few weeks, but it depends on whether or not the yurt camps stay open, they are starting to close.
