Hello,

According to news reports, the Irkeshtam border crossing between China and Kyrgystan has been closed for a number of weeks due to a protest on the Kyrgyzstan side.

Does anybody know whether the blockade has been lifted yet?

Apparently, the extortionate Torugart option to cross is still available...
