Hi,

I'm already in Kyrgyzstan on a 60 day Visa free entry (I'm a UK National).

Does anyone know if it its possible to get a 90 day Kyrgyzstan visa once already inside the country? I'm hoping to try to apply for a Russian Visa, and having a Kyrgyz Visa with at least 90days left until expiry is a requirement of the Russian Consulate here.

Any pointers on if it is possible and how to do it would be great. Equally if anyone knows a better way of getting a Russian Visa that doesn't involve mailing my passport back to the UK that would be great!

As a UK Citizen when I applied for my Visa for Russia I needed an invitation letter first before I could apply for the Visa. This I did via an agent on-line and then I applied for the Visa from the Embassy because it worked out cheaper. It was all done on-line form wise but I then had to send in my passport with the forms and photos to have the Visa attached to my passport.
The information required was unbelievable I also had to list all the countries I had traveled to in the last 10 years which was over 50 with the dates.
If you have served in the military I don't believe you can get a Visa.
