Hello all- would really like to hear some input please: want to book a flight to Bishkek coming from Tel Aviv next month, when I go online I see that the cheaper flights are via Peagusus, and via one or more of the booking sites like Bravo Fly and many others. Then there is the more straightforward booking with Turkish Airlines- I see that it appears that Peagusus comes out cheaper close to $100 but then when you try to book they "sock it to you" with all kinds of extras like "ordering with a credit card", "choosing your seat", "ordering your meal"- so that in the end the difference is much much smaller and my main concern-----what happens if one needs to cancel or change reservations or even information? How safe and reliable are these sites- my hunch is to stay on the conservative side and pay a bit more but to have an "address"---can I ask to hear your honest experiences and knowledge?

Many thanks- appreciate a quick response if possible- cheers!

I've flown a bunch of times with Pegasus and had no problems, but if the difference isn't that much then Turkish Airlines is much more comfortable.

Thanks, Alex, it will be about a $100 difference but I am concerned that with all the Pegasus add-ons and the fear that if something goes wrong that there will be no one to talk to...the comfort point was less on my mind...

Pegasus is a LCC so you pay what you need or want just like you do with RyanAir, Turkish is a FCC so luggage and such are inculded even if you don't have any, just carry on.

Do a dummy booking with Pegasus until you reach the payment site than you know how much you have to pay, do the same with Turkish Air and decide then which one to use.

I often fly RA only with carry on and I don't need food on a short flight or take my own, I buy water after security so don't need to buy it in flight, that way I saved a lot of money or time, I can often find tickets for the same money RA wants but those include long lay overs, RA 3 hour direct, other airline 14 hours due to a long layover on the way.

Thanks for the input- I decided to buy Turkish, it cost me more but it was easier to do and the difference was not all that great. I think if I were traveling this route a lot- as you seem to do- I would have opted otherwise. Thanks for sthe input----will now dig in and learn more about what is interesting and exciting up ahead!

It all depends on the savings eigther time or money wise, if there is only a little difference I would go for a FCC too, but last time I flew RA it saved me 14 hours in lay overs or 800,-- € per ticket, in that case it's a no brainer what to fly.
