Greetings...

I've travelled quite a lot in Canada and the USA, but I only recently discovered the Northwest Angle (the tiny peninsular of northern Manitoba that is caught in the little notch that extends north of the 49th parallel between Manitoba and Ontario). My understanding is that it can only be accessed from the rest of Minnesota or the USA by boat or by land through Canada.

Does anyone have any advice on moving and starting a new life in LA? We are both going to be moving from the UK(i am a dual US and UK passport holder) and have visited the city many times now and love the place. hi there, will be travelling to New York in April and am flying into Newark airport.... what are the best options for me to get into Manhattan (staying on Broadway.)... anyone know the rough price for a taxi? or is there a direct train / bus that will take me there?

we'll be flying from bangkok to the us in april and hear a lot about the trouble with return/onward-tickets being necessary, but we want to continue overland all the way down to south america.
can we successfully tell this plan to an american immigration official or would we need to make up something more ... eh ... mainstream to get the vwp-stamp? or is it better (and possible with the truth) to get a visa beforehand (esp. as we want to stay longer than 90 days) or can we just get a second…

We fly to las vegas at the end of march and we have only one week to travel around. We defenitely want to see the antelope canyon.

Now my question is => do we have to make reservations in advance to go there, or can we just go to the entrance en visit?

Can anyone recommend any decent sites for sports and theatre tickets? There are a number of 'consolidators' which appear from a google searcn but the prices seem overinflated. Maybe my expectations are a little askew but $100 for a ticket to a Yankees game. Is that about right? I am looking for tickets in New York and Las Vegas around April/May.

My partner and I will be flying to San Francisco in May and are planning to stay 3 days before hiring a car and travelling down the pacific coast road. I am unsure what the best area would be to stay in.

Reading through some of the threads I understand the Fisherman's Wharf area is very touristy and that Tenderloin can be rough. We want somewhere that is fairly central, but don't mind walking a bit. Willing to pay up to $120 a night.

We (wife and I, both near 50yo) ,plan to drive to SF from LA around 21 May via the coast.Visit Hearst castle on way, spend one night somewhere on the way.Stay in SF for 3 nights,

Then, fly to Las Vegas, stay 3 nights then fly to LA where we will stay for 6 days and then fly home.

I'm curious what the easiest and best way to carry proof of immunization with you while traveling abroad, and the easiest way to get one of those forms. I currently live on an island in the Florida Everglades and have little access to "real world" facilities but I imagine I'll need one of those forms when I travel to Tibet in a little over a month.
