I’m traveling to lake George for a week this summer from Virginia and we are considering extending our trip to Vermont. We have a 3 year old and 8 week old.

I’ve heard that Burlington, Shelburne, Waterbury, and Stowe are all great places to go. We would like a mix of cultural activities and tasty food along with just outdoor/leisure.

Burlington, it looks like the echo science museum, waterfront, and church market are some of the big places to visit and then Shelburne museum south 9 miles and…

Which city would you recommend spending time in for Thanksgiving, I have the choice to choose either. I will end up visiting both cities, regardless of the one I choose for Thanksgiving.

Hello Everyone,
I accidently put my jacket into the wash having not checked the pockets before hand after the wash was done I had felt something in one the pockets I took it out and realized it was my Canadian Passport.

You can still see the picture, the numbers on it and everything else that should be there but you can tell it went through the washer.

I will be going back to Canada in a few weeks I still have my Birth Certificate from Prince George, British Columbia with me but my Photo…

Anchorage Day trips

I am planning a trip to Anchorage for a week on July! I am a female in my 70’s. I would like to take some day tours! If you thought this might be your last trip to Alaska, Anchorage what would be a “must see”! Cost is no real issue but nothing too costly! I do have a mobility issues - no walker but climbing is a no go! I would really appreciate some feed back, thank you.

Hi All,

Just added Oregon and CA to our 3 month summer tour and I’m a little overwhelmed trying to decide how to do it.

We have two days in Portland, then want to do a drive to Multnomah Falls and then a scenic drive around Mt. Hood before heading to Cannon Beach. Then drive down the coast to CA and to the Redwoods.

I would like to overnight somewhere around Mt. Hood after visiting the falls and doing some light hiking and exploring. Maybe spend 2-3 hours around Falls (is that too much? Not…

Car in Los Angeles.

Hi all!

We are planning a trip to California this August and we are starting off in LA, then renting a car to do a roadtrip to Portland.
As we do not like driving in cities and prefer highways, we do not want to rent the car at the beginning of our stay in LA, but should we ? Is public transport good in LA to see places of interest ? How about parking lots in places like Santa-Monica?

Thank you !

Hi traveler
I have a plan to drive with my own car from Brownsville to Ohio in between Jun 16 and Jun 30. All l need a co-driver and share gas expenses. Even if he or she wants to stop by and see great places, we can. I do have kind of flexible schedule. If anyone is interested in, please let me know. I wish that it would be a fun trip.

Here is my contact info:

Hi,

I've posted a few roadtrip ideas here before and received amazing feedback which contributed to amazing trips. So I thought I'd try again!

This time it will be for a honeymoon. We are both in our mid-late 20s, love the outdoors and hiking, as well as live music, and good food and wine. Something that is a bit of a mix of camping and nice, more conventional honeymoon accommodation would be perfect. Our budget isn't huge, so we are keen for activities like hiking which don't cost a lot. We…
