washing clothes in CA and AZ

I know it doesn't get much more prosaic than this but are there laundromats in smallish towns that are easily accessible, I'm thinking of places like Fort Bragg, Susanville, Independence places like that or do many cheap motels such as motel 6 have a coin laundry? I mean how do we get out laundry done that's cheap?

Not all motels will have a laundry so confirm that before you book the place, also they lock the laundry rooms after a certain time. You can always go to a laundromat if the motel doesn't have a washer/dryer. A wash and dry costs about $3 and you can buy soap from the vending machines if you don't have it with you. You will need quarters to feed the machines, the laundromat will change your bills.

A lot of smaller HOTELS will have washers for use, but only a small % of motels will. Look in the local phonebook or ask at the desk for a nearby place. Works every time.

Lots of Americans lack a laundry, so coin operated laudries are common in small towns. Ft Bragg, yes, the others, I don't recall but I expect yes.
