I don't think anyone will even notice. I've flown out of Windsor to London (UK) because it was cheaper than out of Detroit with no problems when I explained at the border.
I also can't count the number of times of crossed in both directions in one day. I suspect that you won't have any questions at all - but if you do the truth is great - you are doing it to save a lot of money.
