I am a UK citizen and last year I traveled from Egypt to Sudan via ferry. I got a flight out of Sudan from to Saudi Arabia and then back to the UK.

I have since got a new passport so I no longer have a Sudanese Visa in my Passport. With this in mind, would I be able to visit the USA under the VISA waiver program? Or would my flight from Sudan to Saudi Arabia show up on an electronic database at border security.

Since you have traveled to Sudan, you are not eligible for the Visa Waiver Program. You must have a visa to enter the US.

Asking how to skirt laws is against forum guidelines.

You also have to apply for a new ESTA. I don't know precisely, but I expect your visit to Sudan will be recorded, and you may need to apply for a visa. Can't you ask the US embassy in London?

The big question everyone wants to know is how much data the US has behind their restrictions, but nobody really knows and it probably changes over time. If they do catch you telling fibs them you can expect to be banned from the US for a number of year and banned from the VWP for life. From what people have reported as long as they had no cultural connection to those countries and were just going as tourists then there is no hassle getting a US visa instead of using the VWP, it is just that it costs $160.
