Hi
Apologies, I am writing from England and a wedding breakfast here is actually the wedding reception/meal after the wedding ceremony.
My sister is getting married in Vegas in May, and we're trying to select a nice restaurant, we're looking for somewhere with a nice bar, that may have live music and good food, serving a variety of foods including steaks and fish. We're thinking around the $50 - $100 and there will be about 20 of us in the party.
Any reccomendations would be greatfully recieved.
Many thanks.

Where are you staying and where is the wedding? If you're holding the ceremony at one of the resorts or you have a package deal on rooms at same, you might be able to have the reception as part of the same package deal. These would be very good questions for the concierge desk at the resort.
There are almost as many good restaurants in Las Vegas as there are slot machines. I could recommend a few but I hesitate because I've never been in any of them with more than three other people. A large group, especially a wedding reception would need/want special consideration. It would be good that they knew you were coming well in advance too.

A few years ago I went to Vegas for a bachelor party which was held at Lawry's,they have private rooms for your group if you desire. And I enjoyed the service and the food (it's a beef joint) Google them (Lawry's Las Vegas) the trip advisor had reviews both bad and good about them.My experience was very good

Hi, thanks for your replies. They have booked everything indepentently and are getting married at the Little Chapelk of the Flowers at the end of May. Does anyone know if there is a web site which reviews vegas resturants? thanks.
I realize that trying to get information about Las Vegas from the Internet is a bit like sipping water from a fire hose. I'll try to help. The restaurants listed below are places where I have eaten recently but again, always in a small party:
1. Little Chapel of the Flowers' website states that they can help with receptions.
2. Little Chapel of the Flowers is located about two blocks north of the restaurants with the most spectacular view in all of Las Vegas. Those would be the ones in the Stratosphere Tower. They do receptions.
3. Wolfgang Puck, a well-known chef, has a restaurant at Caesars Palace called Spago. They can accommodate receptions.
4. Anything in Wynn is good as far as I know. I've eaten at Barlotta, The Country Club, and SW Steakhouse. They accommodate receptions.
5. If you want to try sipping from the fire hose, Goggle "Las Vegas restaurants receptions" and try your luck.
6. The day you arrive, you can have members of the wedding party try some of the restaurants for dinner and get first-hand opinions.
Good Luck and best wishes.

The Top of The World restaurant in the Stratosphere hotel is excellent and as it revolves around 800ft up with a perfect view of Vegas. The bar does good cocktails too.
