Will be disembarking a cruise ship in New Orleans in April 12 and leaving by air at 5:30pm. Discovered it is French Quarter fest so we want to hang out all day but don’t want to schlep our bags around. Any ideas where we might pay for safe luggage storage for the day?? Thanks!

Looks like there is storage at the Erato Street cruise terminal - and even a transfer service to the airport for you.

There is a streetcar station (Julia Street) just north of the terminal, that will take you to Canal Street. Getting out to the airport by public transport is possible, but it takes a bit to do it (from experience). There may be an afternoon shuttle from the terminal.

We did Carnival Dream out of NOLA for seven nights ... it was kind of crazy ... party boat!

Were on Norwegian for 5 days. 2nd cruise. 1st was to Bahamas. Had such a good time last year(spring break- it was a little nuts) we decided t do it again. The hardest part is getting to and from New Orleans. Flights at weird times, but luckily we will have a fun city to play in while we wait to go home!
