Kauai: Farmers markets, natural food stores

Hi,

Planning a week in Kauai and will have our own kitchen so I'd like to "eat in" as much as possible. Any recommended farmers markets (looking for location/days) and stores that carry organic meats and grains?

There was a farmer's market in Koloa Town when I was there, don't remember what day of the week, but if you are staying in the Poipu area it is convenient. There is also a regular supermarket in Koloa Town. If you ask at any of the stores or restaurants there I'm sure they can tell you what day the farmer's market is.

There's a market almost everyday in one community or another. Google it. markets Papayas Natural food store in Hanalei or Kapaa.
