Can somebody recommend a good Indian Restaurant in Seattle?

The Annapurna Cafe is on Broadway Avenue near Cal Anderson Park and it has delicious Indian, Tibetan and Nepalize food!

India Bistro (2 locations) and Taste of India are a lot of people's favorites. If Bellevue is okay Spice Route is great South Indian and according to Indian friends, very authentic.

Search chowhound.com, and if you don't find what you want, post a question on the Northwest board.

Cedar's in the University of Washington district is fantastic. Great chai, and there's some outdoor seating. I ate a lot of Indian food while I lived in Seattle, and that one was one of my favorites. Plus, it's walking distance to University Avenue (the Ave to locals), and there's lots of great places to get coffee, bubble tea, beer or whatever else you're in the mood for before you eat dinner.

I like the Annapurna Cafe too. Another good suggestion is the everest kitchen which also serves Indian, Tibetian, and Nepalese food.

In the University District just a bit past the corner of 50th and University Ave is a fantastic Indian place with a wonderful lunch buffet for about $8. It is right across from an old school building. I forget the name, but it is between a carpet shop and a Chinese restaurant (also quite good).

It's called the Tandoor. The carpet shop's shut.

India Bistro at 65th and Roosevelt is (IMO) much better, also cheaper and quantity is greater (1 entree = 2 meals.) Also their pomegranate martini is killer. India Bistro is also a bit cleaner.

Yeah, in terms of quality and ambiance, the 2 India Bistros are a step above the other recommendations here. It just depends on what the OP is looking for.
