We are two 26yr old girls. Fly into LA on 29 March at lunchtime and then return a month later. Where should we be staying in LA?

Will all highways be open at that time of the year?

Also we need to skip out Vegas as after we return to LA on 29 April we will be in LA for a week before we meet up with other friends to fly back to Vegas.

All suggestions would be amazingly helpful!

Thanks in advance.

Where should we be staying in LA? Why are you in Los Angeles? What is your budget? Will you have a car? Greater Los Angeles is big enough that we need this sort of information to give you helpful advice.

Will the roads be open? The only seasonal road that I know of in Los Angeles County is CA-2 over the Crest.

If you have a car, you and your friends can drive to Las Vegas for less money. It's not a bad drive up I-15 to Las Vegas as long as it isn't Friday afternoon. The drive back is also very tedious on Sunday afternoons.

If you don't know where you're going, how do you know when you get there?

Highways and freeways in SoCal don't close unless you coun't the fact that they become virtual parking lots for many hours a day. But hey, at least the parking is free.
