California coastal question

Merci all, we appreciate this clarification. Understand, by 'costly', I never meant to imply that the fee would pose any sort of problem for us. I agree, eight bucks is nothing to worry about. The irony is that as non-driving, serious photographers, Mrs Z and I have put aside a significant amount of $ earmarked for hiring some sort of driver-guide for that day, when we visit next spring. BTW, I was there in '91. Lovely area for seascape, land-meets-Pacific fotos.
