Wait a minute - is this a BA ticket? or AA?

I'm assuming as this is RTW that your first flight is probably BA (or another onewolrd carrier) East.

In which case, the AA baggage policy does not apply. You'll get the BA (or other carrier) allowance for the whole trip.

If you've booked AA flights separate to your RTW ticket, then you have to pay.
