We tried to have a single AirHotelCar, we thought that this might be much more cheaper, via airlines websites, which didn't work; probably as we have too many destinations! So, we have few options left: 1] To book every item separately, 2] Try again to use a travel agent for the whole package, which we don't have or know one; or 3] Consider 2 separate packages; one for the mainland and the other for Hawaii ?
All tips and suggestions are highly appreciated, as we are very confused and

However, I think you have too many choices for only one month. If you only have one week for Hawaii, you can maybe see two islands, not three. It is a 5 hour flight from the west coast to Hawaii.

Eats several days just in flights EACH WAY. Then you're rushed, then its no fun. Cut back a town and to 2 Hawaiian islands and you'll be better off. Depending on what you like I'd lose SF or LA, and visit Maui and Kauai or switch either of them for Hawaii (TBI). If you have to spend a night on Oahu you might extend it for a day and take a drive around the island, since its quite beautiful too.
Book it yourselves. But if you write down an itinerary see what a TA comes up with for you. They DO still ahve resources not available to joe flyer. I fly 100,000 miles a year and live part time in Hawaii, book 90% of my own travel and STILL the TAs sometimes beat everything I can come up with. Worth checking.
