Does the ferry from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales run all year round?

I wonder what is the best way to travel from ecuador to panama.I heard plane is the safest, since going through colombia is dangerous, but the most expensive .And by boat is a mess, is not reliable.The thing is I looked for cheap flights on the internet but the prices are too expensive, around £200, so maybe i am missing out something.If anybody have any tips, please.

I have decided to extend my trip in South America and need to buy a one way ticket to London in April.
Can anyone recommend the cheapest way of getting home from either Argentina, Bolivia or Columbia before I work out my itinerary!!?

Hey all.

4 of us will be in Buenos Aires from the 13th. We would like to go to the Carnaval in Rio but havent prepared anything yet, which might rule it out.

1. How long should we allow to travel via bus to Rio from BA (we think 2 days, so leave on the 16th?)
2. We havent booked hostels yet, is it still viable for us to get anywhere this late? Any recomendations?
3. Where in Rio is a good place to go? We´ve never been and guide books suggest lots of places.

I intend to take a group of young people on a trekking experience following if at all possible around Salta Northern Argentina during the end of Apr and beginning of May. Can I check-through my baggages and obtain a boarding pass, if I got connection between a flights with GOL and TAM?

I got only one hour between the arrival by GOL and departure by TAM (at Curitiba airport), is it really too impossibly short?
