Can anyone tell me how much the departure tax on international flight is in Col. Thanks in advance.

In my footprint book, it says this is possible....can it be done? The website says it is primarily for locals, but there may be some room leftover for tourists at a higher rate. Anyone done this?

Also, the flight from Coyhaique to Villa Ohiggins - any experience with this?

I am down in argentina and I need to send my paraglider home, I was curious if anyone knows the safest most efficent way to do this. My glider is in a bag that weighs about 22 kilos and with the accessories it is not a very cheap item (USD 4000+), so if someone could help me out that would be great.

we're planning our itinerary for a three month trip though south america. we'll be flying into beunos aires and working our way up to peru.

We want to finish our travels in a bit of luxury in a nice hotel near a nice beach somewhere for the last couple of weeks but not sure where to go from peru.

We're going kitesurfing on Coche for a couple of weeks very soon... We're going to have a few days (maybe 2-4) to hang out on Margarita (or??) afterwards.

Does anybody have any suggestions on something else we could do that's not too far from Margarita and not too $$?? (We were going to go to Los Roques, but I think its out of our price range).

Any other suggestions? Maybe something more inland, a Park worth visiting? a good scuba diving spot? or something I haven't thought of?

My husband and I will be arriving in Buenes Aires in early March and will be continiuing through SA and CA, so we were hoping to learn a little spanish to get us through. We probably have about 1 week (give or take a few days to learn). What are the best courses/places to go? Wanting cheap, but good service, smaller groups better.

Would like some experienced hands to pass on stories or info on places to go/things to do for carneval in BAQ. Cheap hotel rooms? (I am currently in Panama City without a guide book for info on this) Where exactly is the parade? When does it get going? Good clubs for after the show? Anything.
