Hi, how safe nowadays is this trip? I read about frequently Bus stop robberies. Some experiences?

I know each country is different but in general how much space does an entryl/visa stamp into S.American countries take in an EU passport. My S.E.Asia trip took two pages for some countries so just wondering. I do have plenty of space at the moment.

Hi there, can anyone tell me of the best snorkelling tours at Arraial Do Cabo with return pickup at Rio De Janeiro? Also does anyone know which are the best places to snorkel around there and what kinds of fish are common to see there? Thanks in advance!

I've seen some confusing info about this. I'm looking to get to Torres del Paine for the W trek. Do I have to take a bus all the way to Puerto Natales and then up to the park? Seems awfully out of the way. Is it possible to take a bus to the town of Torres del Paine, which looks like it's right over the border, and then from there to the park? Or find a way directly from El Calafate to the park? What about on the return?

We're going to be staying in Medellin and want to travel to some of the surrounding towns, Andes in particular. Is it safe to take buses to these towns, or does it make more sense to hire a driver to take our family?

I've just discovered I can get to TDP, but not back to Puerto Natales, as all the bus companies stop running on 1st May!

I will arrive at TDP by bus on April 27 and will hike on the W trek. I have reservations at the shelters, which end at Lago Gray Refuge for the night of April 30th. I was planning to take the boat to Pudeto on May 1 (I think they run on the 1st and the 15th of each month, although they have not responded to confirm). But I think no bus company is operating on May 1…

I’m traveling solo to Cusco September this year and would like to go to the South Valley part of Cusco where Tipon, Pikillaqta, and Andahuaylillas is.

The thing is, I tried going to different company tour websites and I can’t find any tours going to South Valley that permits only 1 person. (I’m not against group tours with strangers. But it seems all of the tour companies do it by private groups and not accumulating numbers... I think?).

I will travel to Chile at the second half of October and would like to visit some national park. For the time being the Lauca, Campana, Queulat, Huerghue and Villarica on my list, (I am not interested in TdP). I will travel by public transport (10-15km walk is not problem for me) and visit them independently. Can you recommed any national park that is worth visiting above the mentioned? It is important the scenery, wildlife, uniqueness, and not to be too commercialized.

My Peru itinerary so far is: Copacabana Bolivia > Puno > Arequipa > Cuzco > Ayacucho > Ica > Lima > Huaraz > Trujillo > Piura > Macará Ecuador.
