I've traveled in Central America but would like to head further south as well. Any suggestions for great food, swimable water, etc?
Planning a trip to the Galapagos sometime in January, February or March of 2020 and keep seeing western, eastern and northern part with cruises going there. Not sure what the difference is and which is the better option. We will not be scuba diving but definitely snorkeling. Would like to stay more in the Galapagos than in Ecuador since we've done that already. Also, want to do a 4 day cruise in Galapagos. Was checking out Gate 1 tours, Tour Radar, G Adventures. Any other suggestions so we…
Hi everyone,
Due to work and other commitments, I was only recently able to think about booking a holiday to Peru. This means that tickets are selling out quick for MP (and are sold out)
I have found a trek that works on the day I want to go ( Ancascocha) however, the day that I want to go, the trek is available, Machu Picchu City is available but Machu Picchu mountain is not, neither is Huayna Picchu mountain (but I figured that anyway).
Is it worth going all the way to Machu Picchu…
Hello everybody! We are planning a trip to Patagonia, interested in sea animals’ reservations near Trelew. We are 7-8 and i found extremely difficult to find car rental of van or 7-10 persons car. Please, any experience. We are definitely not going to rent 2 cars or pay for overpriced bus tours. Thank you!
And any tip for accomodation of reasonable price? And “must see” places?
Hello,
My partner and I are traveling for 13 days to Colombia in August. We wanted a mix of adventure and beach time.
Since there is so much to see and so little time, we were going to concentrate on the North.
We have two ideas of itinerary and was hoping we could get advise / commentary from you:
Option 1:
Day 1: Arrival Bogota
Day 2: Day in Bogota, Fly to Cartagena in the evening
Day 3: Cartagena
Day 4: Santa Marta
Day 5-9: Lost city Trek
Day 10-12: Tayrona
Day 13: Fly back to Bogota from Santa…
I'm looking into doing a 3 day trip of one of these. I would love to, but don't have time to do the combined as they all seem to be a minimum of 5 days.
I think I would only have 5 days, but that would include a flight on both sides. Since I'm short on time, I'm thinking I will have to book the flights and the 3 day tour (whether I choose Pampas or Jungle) and the flights on either side ahead of time, even though it seems it could be cheaper if I do it there?
I read that Pampas is more…
Hey everyone,
I plan on diving Galapagos in early July. The question I have is whether to book in advance or is it better to negotiate with dive shops upon arrival? Is there a chance the dive shops will be overbooked?
Hi all! My fiancé and I are planning a trip to Patagonia for our honeymoon! We're pretty experienced backpackers, and are bringing all our own gear. Our top priority is TDP, and we've reserved our campsites for the O route, but are a little stuck on what to do next. After TDP, we'll have about two weeks until our flight back home from Santiago. We're trying to decide between doing some kayaking from TDP to puerto natales, and then heading up to el calafate and el chalten for trekking and…
Hello all!
Has anyone here been to Jardin? I am staying there from 12th August to 15th August, but I am now thinking of extending my stay to the 17th so I can get a cheap flight out of Medellin to Cartagena on the 18th.
I was just wondering if it's worth staying for that long?
Or should I get back to Medellin for a couple days before my flight instead.
Many thanks
