Hello. I will be entering Venezuela from Manaus, Brazil and leaving from Caracus on April 12. Any reccomendations of where to stay and where to go? I will only have a week to a week and half and am interested in trekking, nice beaches, and safe low-budget travel. Any advice is welcome!

Thankyou very much in advance!

Well you can go for a couple of days to Margarita Island, there are a couple of options in Caracas but you if you tell me what are you looking for and your budget I can give a better option. remember the exchange rate is higher than the official 2.15BsF. per 1$US, every day changes, right know the un-official is about 5.3BsF. per 1$US.

If you only have a week or so and you're bussing from Manaus definitely stop in Santa Elena and do the Roraima hike!

Roraima is probably the best thing, it takes kind of 5 to 6 days. if u dont want to take that much time, maybe u can do Angel Falls, it takes 3 days and its absolutelly great. That one is better to start it from Ciudad Bolivar, is cheaper, and there are hostels there nice and cheap.

Afterwards u can continue to the beach, maybe isla margarita and there is another beach called Choroni, close to Caracas, so u can have a look at it. Anything else, just ask
