Hi,

I would like to know if anyone has any experience of the climate in Venezuela in the month of may (as it should be the beginning of the wet-season). Is it okay for sun-bathing etc.? And; does anyone know a good spot for diving/taking a diver-certificate apart from in Los Roques?

Besides; does anyone know if it's possible to withdraw dollars in Peru or Bolivia before entering Venezuela (given the different values of the dollar in Venezuela) if we would like to avoid carrying them around for the whole trip?

Thanks a lot.

Mette

Hi,
about climate in Venezuela in may - depends on where you are. In general the coastline will always be warm and good for sun bathing. In the Gran Sabana, wet season means rain 2 hours every afternoon (as far as I remember). Climate in Andes - don't know but generally colder than lowlands...

In general as far as I know temperature changes much throughout the months (cold some months and warm other months like in Europe), it's just a question of about a couple of hours rain every day or not.

Don't know nada about the other things you asked about.

Have a wonderful trip
