I wanted to know if any of you know a reliable taxi driver in Caracas who speaks perhaps a little English(or perhaps a lot) whose name number email I might be able to get from you.

I believe that the latest edition of the LP Ven. mentions a driver who speaks English and has email(and gives his number too), but I do not have this book with me.

Could you also tell me the name of a reliable radio taxi company who speak English??

Can I find an official taxi with a yellow plate at the bus station in Caracas, when I arrive from Ciudad Bolivar?? Is a taxi with a yellow plate always official and safe??? I know I can get these official taxis from the airport but what about the bus station.

You may pm me with this information if you wish!!!

Thanks in advance.

Delmar

There are different bus terminals that you could arrive to from Ciudad Bolivar, if you are taking Rodovias, the official taxis will be the ones greeting you when you are still inside the airport (without getting out to the street). Usually they wear uniform.

Hola Delmar,

You should have no problem with getting them outside bus stations. There are always plenty of customers at the places so taxi drivers abound. What is tricky is finding one who speaks english.

All the best,
