I try to get information about water conditions around Canaima and Angel falls.
Is it possible to visit falls in early february? Is there sufficient level of water to flow on boat up to the base of Angel falls? What about other falls near Canaima?
Do the travel agencies organise such trips during dry season? If yes, is it worth going there in this period?
Thanks for any advise.

Hi there,
as far as I know tour organizers don't do the canoe kind of tours in dry season, simply because the river hasn't enough water to ship you. I am not sure whether there's water in the falls at all, I'd assume so, at least I've never heard that operators stop flights to the falls. But if you want a 3 days trip with canoe, you will have to choose the wet season. It's worth waiting though, if you freely can decide when to go. The canoe / jungle trip I thought was just awesome. Dont really know anything about other falls and dry season, yet I can't really imagine Sapo Falls running dry... don't know. Maybe you should just try to ask an agency directly - e.g. Gekko Tours is very helpful.

well man, ive just come from there and there was not much of a problem, actually now they are starting a new type of touraround, if u have time i can recommend it. Its a 5 to 6 day trip, through two other rivers, a lagoon thats close and a trekking in the jungle. If u need any info, please just let me now.
