I am travelling to Venezuela in July and wondered what kind of prices other people paid for Angle Falls tours? I will be with my girlfriend and we will be arranging the tour in Ciudad Bolivar, any help is appreciated. Thanks

Pay attention to the black market rate of exchange in Venezuela which is much higher than the official one.

Previous post:

The black market is widespread in Venezuela: you can get up to 3.9 Bolivares per American dollar against 2.15 on the official market and with credit cards - Bring American dollar cash, bigger notes get you a better exchange rate.

Very important to bring a lot of american dollars bc onceyour in venezuela you wont be able to get american money. youll lose 50% of every dollar if you dont.

We paid US$300 per person for 3 days / 2 nights, flying from Puerto Ordaz. Of course, using black market exchange rate. Ciudad Bolivar could be a little bit cheaper.

After knowing about black market,i can tell u, the rates are about 250 dollars, taking the plane from cd Bolivar that is the best deal probably. There are 3 different ways of getting there, from ciudad bolivar direct flight in 1 hour to canaimam and then the tour, spending 2 1/2 hours on a van to la Paragua and then half an hour to canaima and the tour, or if u have the time,a 6 day tour, not using plane, but trekking and boats. The first and last are about the same rates, the one from la Paragua its cheaper. Any questions just ask, im stayin for a while in Ciudad Bolivar. Good trip.
