Hi Tom,

I did a trip run through backpackertours about a month ago. Booked in Santa Elena it cost about 2400 bsf (around $300 usd on the black market rate at the time) which included transportation to and from, entrance fees, food, guides tents, sleepingbags and mats and porters. Standard trip is 6 days - 3 up 1 on top and 2 down. About 4-5 hours of strenuous hiking per day.

As mentioned above standard trip is 6 days / 5 Nights and depart regularly from Santa Elena. Price is approx US $ 300 from Santa Elena; nevertheless, you have to get to and from Santa Elena, which can increase the price slightly.
