Can anyone suggest a way to get to PA ?
As well as a guide or agency that goes there or is based there ?
Hola Charawarawá Atiwa;
This means Hello my good friend in the indigenous Piaroa dialect. It will come in handy when in the Amazon. I myself have just got back from leading a tour into the amazing Amazon Jungle, which is no joke! The rain forest is particularly harsh, insects of all sorts abound - yet is is one of the most amazing sites anyone will ever come across. In order to get to Puerto Ayacucho you can get the plane or bus from Caracas, of course the plane will get you there much faster. As for guides, it all depends what you want to do. Getting to the Autana is relatively easy but a more extensive jungle trip will require more preparation and therefore better prepared guides.
All the best,
Thomas
