Nelson's Place in Caracas: any experience?

I stayed with Nelson in October and November last year when I was in Caracas and rate it as one of the best options for Caracas. The accomodation is not cheap, but then nor is anywhere else in the city. Nelson's apartment is in the centre of town and Nelson's a really friendly guy who does go out of his way to make your stay enjoyable (shows you places to see and go in Caracas and the country, knows people all over Venezuela and is more than happy to take you along to a party if there's something going on in town). His place is in the Sabana Grande which gets a bad rep in the guidebooks but I found there to be no problems at night.
