First of all, thanks for those who replied my first post, it's a lot of help!

Next question: LP mentions a bus going downtown from Caracas airport, but it's not mentioned in any thread here. Given that the guide is a bit old, I wonder if that transport is still operational? Again, thanks in advance for your replies.

I was in Caracas in June, and I was curious about that bus too. I decided to be on the safe side and take a cab. I never got an answer about the bus. I'd like to know as well.

Hi. Yes, the bus is still operating (at least it was in December) and it is a very good way to get to Caracas.

It leaves from a stand near the Domestic Terminal, tickets can be boughts at the booth next the Domestic Terminal entrance. The price is BF18 per person, bus is air-conditioned and very safe. It gets you to the Parque Central in Caracas center.
When going back from the city to the airport, they have their own small air-conditioned terminal at Parque Central where you may need to wait some half an hour for the next bus.

Have a good trip.
