Hi,
thanks for the link to "dolar paralelo" blog.
However I've heard that dolar paralelo referred only to internet transactions. Is it true or it is more or less what we can expect when trying to exchange money in the unofficial market?

And one more question: I'm aware of unofficial rate, but just in case (i.e. shortage of cash): what would be conversion rate for USD when withdrawing cash from ATM? 2,60 or 4,30 per dollar? I'm confused with 'oil dollar'...

I don't see how an ATM can dispense anything other than the official rate.....4.3 or thereabouts.. So if you get your money exchanged at a machine, you'll really get screwed when you buy something that's priced at the unofficial rate.

Bloomberg had an article a few days back and quoted the unofficial rate at 6.48......I know that's an odd number for the blackmarket.
This is really strange, because the currency was only devalued on the 8th.
