Hi guys,
I was looking for information about a trek to the source of Angel Falls on the top of the tepui but nothing. The normal route goes to El Oso and the Libertador for a scenic view. I want to reach the landing site of Jimmy Angel and the source of the falls. Does anybody know how? I speak fluent Spanish and I'm gonna rent a local guide in Kavac but no info how long does this trek take and how much money it is. Thanks for your help!

Hola Endimirador,

Trek to the source of the Angel falls is 14 Days / 13 Nights long from Ciudad Bolivar. When are you thinking of going? I would start from Uruyen but if travelling solo it may prove expensive.

All the best,

I'm gonna do that at the end of the year. I was looking around and I found that the trail from Campo Lecho takes 2 days more to the camp of the source, 1 night in Campo Neblina. Is it true?

Correcto hermano.

I may even join you if time work and family allow for it.

Did you manage to do this trip? Any details on how look it took and how much it cost for a guide/gear?
