Hi there,

i am looking for a Gran Sabana tour which doesnst last 3 or 4 days. I am thinkig about doing a Gran Sabana tour after trekking Roraima so I will be in Sansta Elena and I would be satisfied by seeing the southern gran Sabana.

Has anyone done a 1 or 2 day Tour and knows a good company?

Greets and thanks in advance,

Alex

Hi Alex,

When exactly do you return form Roraima. It'll work out cheaper for you if you do a tour of the Gran Sabana in a group of at least 4 people.

Let me know if you need more help,

All the best,

Hi there,

i think i will be back from the roraima-tour on on around the 29. of December. Do you think there will be Tours at this time of the year?

You say it will work out cheaper if there is more people. That’s of course true but if I travel by my own and looking for a tour, no matter if salto angel / roraima / llanos.. I go to a tour-company, ask for the tour and then they put me together with other people who are also looking for a Tour at the same Date… Isn’t it like that in Venezuela?

Thanks an advance,

Alex

Hi Alex,

That is indeed the case. Getting a group together would actually be no problem. The problem would be arranging dates so that you don't have to hang around too long waiting for the tour to depart. Let me look into what dates I've got for the Gran Sabana in Dec. and I'll get back to you.

I'll be in touch shortly.

All the best,

Hey,

I did a 1 day Gran Sabana tour and it was very nice. Just make sure beforehand that you know what you want to see and do, and make this clear to the tour guide/operator, just so you don't miss out on things. But you'll definitely visit a few waterfalls (go for a swim!!) and get the feeling of how desolate the Gran Sabana is. I don't think you have a lot of choice of tour operators, since (in my case) most people only do Roraima. Just let all of the tour operators know what you want to do and they will contact you and put you together with other people.
