Yellow Fever Vaccine Booklet checked upon entering Tayrona??? Recent traveler response appreciated

Hey!
My boyfriend and I are traveling to Colombia in 3 days and will be getting the yellow fever vaccine a few days shy of the 10 day requirement period needed to make the entry requirements to enter Tayrona National Park. I have read everything on lonely planet and other blogs that the certificates are seldom checked, is this true? We are worried because of the date written on our booklets we may not be allowed entry.

I have been there several times and never been asked for proof of vaccinations.

I've been there a handful of times - earlier this year was the latest, and have never been asked.

Nobody in Colombia is going to ask you for your Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.
