| cpt_nightboat03:01 UTC18 Oct 2007 | Hola a todas. I am looking for someone or a group of people that maybe kind enough to let me tag along on the 'W' Trail in Torres del Paine. Alternatively if there is anyone out there who would like to go but not on there own and would like to plan a trip to the area please contact me.
I will be in Santiago on the 12th of November. I need to be back in Santiago on the 29th of November. That leaves 16 days for trekking in the area of Torres del Paine. This is the itinery I would like to do:
Chile - Torres del Paine - The 'W' 5 days
Argentina - El Calafate - 1 day (daytrip - I hear this is very touristy but worth the time)
Chile - Monte Fitz Roy - 3 days
That is 8 days of trekking with enough time inbetween for travel and preparation (I hope).

Your itinerary sounds fine, and has 'space' for commuting and extra days as needed. Don't panic about beginning alone...you won't be for long...trekkers are a good breed!
