The Atacama area / Moon Valley / Geysers etc

Does anyone know of a good holiday company who can arrange (guided) tours which can take in the Northern area of Chile at a reasonable cost . I live in the UK. thank you.

You have loads of tour operators that do the tours you are talking about. Your base should be San Pedro de Atacama, a little village in the desert from where you can take up the most amazing tours! Just choose one if you arrive in San Pedro de Atacama, much cheaper than ordering from the UK!

Yep, agree with #1, San Pedro nice place, plenty english spoke. plenty tour operators. Could chill out there for a week. Maybe consider doing amazing 3 or 4 day Salt Flat tour into Bolivia, or if you are heading to Bolivia, best way to get there, just end at Uyuni.

Yep, fly to Santiago, bus to S.Pedro (making connections in Antofagasta & Calama) - and have the tours arranged locally. Works smoothly, and should be reasonably priced as well

Or, alternatively fly to La Paz, head for Uyuni, take the 4 days (spectacular) SW circuit (easily arranged in Uyuni) - and have them arrange a pickup at Laguna Verde by a tour bus from S. Pedro. Works well to - and you'll avoid backtracking to Uyuni. Check out the political situation in Bolivia beforehands, as road blocks seems to be a widespread way of making political statements.
